The QN90D belongs to Samsung’s Neo QLED 4K range. The 65-inch model pairs a Mini LED backlight with the NQ4 AI Gen2 processor and a panel rated at 120 Hz, extendable to 144 Hz. This review summarises what Samsung states on its Brazilian product page and adds our reading of what those specifications mean for different kinds of buyers.

Editorial analysis
Mini LED backlighting uses a large number of small LEDs grouped into dimming zones, which helps a TV keep blacks deep next to bright highlights. Paired with an anti-reflection screen, the specification points to a set designed for bright living rooms as well as darker, cinema-style viewing.
HDR10+ is supported. Dolby Vision is not listed on Samsung’s page, which is worth checking if much of what you watch is mastered in that format.

Editorial analysis
Because all four HDMI inputs are listed at 4K 144 Hz, a console, a gaming PC and a streaming device can share the TV without trading ports. The 144 Hz ceiling matters most for PCs that can output above 120 Hz. VRR, ALLM and FreeSync Premium Pro cover the usual low-latency features.

Editorial analysis
Tizen is Samsung’s own smart platform. AirPlay and built-in voice assistants make the TV easier to fit into an existing phone and smart-home setup, and the integrated SmartThings, Matter and Zigbee support lets it act as a hub for compatible devices.

Editorial analysis
At under 27 mm deep without its stand, the panel suits wall mounting, and the VESA 400 x 300 pattern works with standard brackets. The central pedestal base is 390 mm wide, so the TV can sit on narrower furniture than designs with feet at each end.
Pros
Limitations and buying considerations
Buyers who want a bright, gaming-ready 4K TV for a mixed-use living room, especially households with a gaming PC or several consoles, who stream mainly in HDR10 or HDR10+.
On paper, the QN90D 65″ combines a Mini LED backlight, a 144 Hz panel and four 4K 144 Hz HDMI inputs in a slim chassis. For most buyers the deciding question is HDR format support: if Dolby Vision matters to you, check that first. For gaming and bright-room viewing, the specification is strong.
